Understanding fat in the healthy eating world is next to impossible. What is good and what is not!?
So let’s talk about what we know. Red meat and other meat products, cakes and crap food is high source of saturated fats. Saturated fats are synonymous with heart disease.
However, nuts, oily fish and milk also high in saturated fat decreases risk of heart disease.
Mind fuck much!
There are 4 types of fat found in food: Polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, saturated and transfat. Each type of fat has a different chemical compound and reacts differently in our bodies. So how do we know what to eat. Here are 5 facts that are a need to know.
The fact remains, the FDA, the American Heart Association and Myplate.gov all have their own agenda’s and neither is going to admit they ever gave out bad advice. So, like I say in all my blogs eat what is real, what is whole and what is not processed. You won’t have to think about what is good for you if you keep food simple.
