![]() We have so many thoughts, so many wants, we become overwhelmed that we are going to fail before we truly begin. It is easily to fail and not try then try and fail. The metal exhaustion one feels time and time again from failure can do a number on one’s confidence. We also become consumed with all the cutting-edge gadgets. Fitbit, Garmin, Calorie Counters…they yell at us to move, they celebrate when we are good. But they are not people, they are an electronic device programmed to be our inner conscience. After celebrations become less and less because challenges become too hard. We now have a glorified watch. The way to stop this cycle is by choosing 1 habit per month. Start small but keep in mind a habit that will make an impact on your life. Next, make your plan and include all possible triggers that could ultimately create failure. Third, share your goal! Social Media that shit! Get positive reinforcement from real people. Lastly, post daily progress, give yourself feedback. You are never too old to give yourself a sticker! Habits do not have to be hard to matter. They only need to reflect solely on your needs. Start small like drinking a class of water with breakfast or switching out the donuts at snack time with a power shake. You can do this!
