3lbs of stew meat
1 head of kale chopped 1 large onion sliced 1 bag of steamable red bliss potatoes, steamed and quartered 3 large carrots, chunked 1 container of beef broth Salt, pepper, cayenne, thyme, 3 bay leaves, evoo juice of 1 lemon Have a dutch oven or crock pot ready. For this I use a crock pot since I hate having my oven on for long periods of time. Saute the the beef meat in small batches in an iron skillet...salt and pepper generously and a sprinkle of cayenne and transfer to the crock pot. Then, take the chopped kale in the beef juice in the pan and saute lightly squeezing the juice of the lemon once wilted place the kale in the crockpot. Make sure you pour all of the juice into the crockpot, that is the good stuff. Then add in the carrots, onions, and steamed potatoes* to the crock pot. Top with beef broth, thyme and 3 bay leave. You can cook it low and slow for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. *steamable potatoes are magic...steam for 8 minutes in the microwave. Carefully take out half and quarter. I like to sprinkle with white vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Option to saute in the pan after the kale is gives the potatoes a wonderful crust..... I didn't do it that time but have in the past. I know this is late to post...being the weather change but it's good to keep on cool spring nights!

it seems like there was a new recipe in town that’s going to be worth the try. I am so much willing to cook right now since I have time for that. Work was suspended. I realized that it has been a while since the last time I cooked beef stew, so I will take this opportunity to cook something for my family. I just hope that I will be able to achieve the taste you’ve had with this as I am quite worried that I will not be able to achieve its taste!
