plum sauce

8/31/2019

.3 very ripe plums, pitted
1 cup Coconut aminos
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon EVOO
dashes of hot sauce to taste
salt and pepper
sprinkle of cayenne

You are going to mix all the ingredients together and heat...you can puree using an immersion or regular blender.

This recipe yields a lot. I marinaded 3 pounds of chicken and then with the heated sauce I basted the meat throughout the cooking process.  Keep the heat low and slow so it doesn't burn.  I also used the same batch on Pork.  I wanted to use it on  salmon but my dogs decided to eat my salmon before I got a chance to make it.  I feel this would also be delicious on steak.

I had not posted this recipe yet because I did not get a picture of the product. Instead you get a picture of the guilty beasts who ate my salmon
